Once its dry and has been fired in the kiln once, then you could spray paint it clear. But, you could also put clear glaze on it, then fire it, so it would be shiny, and you'd have made it in the traditional way.

Can you use clear spray paint on clay?
I am making a clay pot and want to make sure it has some sort of thing to make it shiny. My friend told me to use spray paint but i dont want to ruin it and have accurate answers. Please give me anything ya got thank you;)Can you use clear spray paint on clay?
