Does spray paint kill your body a lot?

when i spray paint without a mask does it kill by brain cells or just my body. I know that i have to wear the mask but what are the consequences of not wearing it? Does spray paint kill your body a lot?
The fumes and the paint particles suspended in the air are extremely toxic. Don鈥檛 breathe for any period of time. Wear a filter mask and insure the area you paint in is very well ventilated. It can cause brain damage, organ damage, (heart, liver, kidneys) and lung problems such as COPD, asthma and cancer. It can also cause blood disorders. The smell is from the VOC (volatile organic chemicals) remaining in the air. The only thing to do is to air out the room completely.

Be very careful.

Good luck!

Particle matter in your lungs always ends up giving you lung diseases and lung cancer. Add in the exotic components and you have even more problems lead, arsenic, cobalt, etc...

Spraying paint, baking bread, and coal mining all of these professions have a higher incidence of lung ailments.

So no it isn't just the brain cells you're killing. as any gases from the paint are most likely going through the mask anyways. The mask is there to keep the paint out.
