Will yellow spray paint show up on something black?

i am trying to make my black suspenders yellow, if i spray paint them, will they be yellow, or will it mess up because the suspenders are black? Will yellow spray paint show up on something black?
Yes but you may need to do 2 or 3 coats. Also when they ''suspend'' or stretch you may see a little black.

Pre-load(stretch) them first and shoot a coat of paint. Then relax them and give them a couple of coats to cover. Will yellow spray paint show up on something black?
Spray paint, in a heavy enough coating, completely fill all external gaps in the weave and layer upon itself to form a thin layer, possibly a shell depending upon the level of application.

In other words, yes. It will show up without issue.
Yes. If you spray paint them yellow..they will be yellow. Depending on what color yellow you buy. If you buy a bright yellow it will look darker on the black. A dark yellow may appear orange.

Good Luck
You can't paint fabrics with spray paint, it won't come out evenly. As your suspenders stretch, things will flake. Buy yellow suspenders!
It will show. Do a light coat first and let it dry, that will seal the fabric. Then the second coat won't soak in as much and will be brighter.
bleach them in the washing machine first and then itll work,

unless you have access to montana paint dont do it, itll turn out a gross almost mustard brown
Yes it will because the yellow is wet and the black is dry thus it will not mix. The yellow will simply cover the black:)
yes unless it like light pastel yellow then no

but if its like a bright yellow well then yes

and it also all depend on the quality of the pain
Yes it will show up definitly Go for it!
yes it will show up but it can mess up your suspenders
