A can of spray paint says it will cover an area of 12m虏?

Answer the following:A)If the can is empty after spraying a square area. What is the length of each side of square?

B) If 3 cans are needed to paint a square area, what is the length of each side of this square?A can of spray paint says it will cover an area of 12m虏?
part A the answer is sqrt(12) because the sides of a square are the same length.

Part b multiply 3*12 to get the total area then take the square root of that number to get the lengths of the sides.A can of spray paint says it will cover an area of 12m虏?
The side is the square root of the area:

鈭?2=2鈭?鈮?.464m

Part two is:

鈭?6 = 6m
A = s^2

12 = s^2

sqrt12 = s

2 sqrt 3 cm = s

36 = s^2

6cm = s
