I have a freshly built engine with fresh engine spray paint on it and I have leaked clean engine oil on it. While canned engine paint is good, it is not like factory paint and will not stand much cleaning without removing or lifting the paint - any suggestions are welcome.How remove clean engine oil from freshly painted engine (spray can engine paint) without removing the paint?
gently wipe it with a clean cloth, dabbing at first to soak up as much as possible. If you don't get it all, try a warm soapy cloth with a gentle dishsoap like Dawn. rubbing alcohol works great.
