Also choas space marines can be dry brushed so the corners are white does that mean i need white undercoat.Instead of using chaos black spray paint, can i just paint my model black.?
Okay... You're talking about a BRAND name. You can CERTAINLY buy a cheaper compatible black spray paint !!
As to ';dry-brushing';... you put a HIGHLIGHT color on a palatte (or margarine lid). It is a shade or 2 lighter than whatever the BASE coat is... grey for black... just add 1 drop white to 4 drops of the BASE color.
Dry brushing you dip the brush (straight, soft, strong) in the highlight color... wipe off 90% of the paint onto a cloth or newprint... and then ';Dust'; the figure's HIGHLIGHTS with that color !!
AMAZING how well that works... backed with a ';shadow'; wash in the FOLDS of fabric
