Is it possible to paint or spray racket to cover all the scratches?

My racket is pretty scratched up and I was wondering if I could do something to make it look new again? One other question, if I do somewhere repaint the racket, will it melt off on a hot hot day? ThanksIs it possible to paint or spray racket to cover all the scratches?
It's possible, depending on the depth of the scratches. And more than likely, no - the paint won't ';melt'; off but it may eventually come off in chips. Is it possible to paint or spray racket to cover all the scratches?
Thats pretty risky. If you did try that, then it would be kinda hard to find the exact color shade that your racquet is. And if you could find the exact shade then its most likely not the paint they use at the factory and it might look strange. Heres what I would do- Find (or buy) a super cheap racquet that no one will use and chip some of the paint (if it isn't chipped off already) and test it on that racquet. Sorry to be so negative, but I really dont think some old paint would make it look ';new';. It would probably just make it look worse, but you can try if you want. Good Luck...
No you don't have to spray paint it!

Take a brush and some wall paint and give it at least 3 coats.

Make sure you take the strings out 1st so you can get it nice and thick into those little holes on the frame.

Better yet! Pour paint in a big container and just dip your racket in it!!
That's kind of impractical. It will just chip off when it hits the ground or when you drag it when picking it up. No one can make fun of you if you have a scratched up racket; it just means that you are a hard player and an experienced one. No one is going to put you down for having a worn out racket. Or buy a new one if no one knows any good paints to repaint your racket.
Why would you want to spray-paint the racquet? If it is not cracked and it still functions fine, then do not do so. Scratches only show that you play tennis and you have used the racquet. Having a brand-new racquet look the whole time makes you seem like a beginner. Just by more than one of the same racquet and switch off. Eventually all will be scratched if you play a lot.
