Spray paint explode in the cold?

I have a can of spray paint in the trunk of my car. I can't get it out because my trunk is frozen shut unfortunately and I don't feel like standing out there and prying it open.

I was wondering if it would be okay to leave it out there overnight, even though it is below freezing outside? I know cans can explode from the heat, but will the cold effect them at all? Thanks!Spray paint explode in the cold?
The can probably will not explode from freezing, but the paint will be ruined if it freezes.Spray paint explode in the cold?
No explosions, yes ruined paint.
There is very little risk of of your paint exploding OR freezing.
