How can i remove spray paint from plastic?

hi, how can i remove spray paint from plastic without damaging the original Colour of the plastic ( that is underneath the spray paint )How can i remove spray paint from plastic?

seriously -- try ';WD-40'; or similar petroleum based solvent. There is also a commercial product called ';goof-off';How can i remove spray paint from plastic?
acetone, or nail varnish remover. i work with plastic boats and use acetone all the time to remove paint and stains. no harm to the pigment in the plastic matey, just wipe of acetone with damp cloth after paint has gone.





if its a large aria of paint use lots of the stuff, with kitchen roll,


changing rags often. and were gloves, the acetone soaks into your skin . ta
Water and gentle agitiation. There is no proper primer for plastic and so paint will not bond strongly to shiny plastic.
