My son and I just finished painting a 24' jet-powered river boat completely camo'd outer hull and partial camo inner walls. We were able to find some camo colors from a manufacturer here in the states called KRYLON. However, we wanted a lot more than just the 4 colors this maker has in their inventory. Our alternative was to look for aerosol (rattle can) paints in colors more to our choosing, and ONLY in satin finish. Using gloss colors creates too much shine and defeats the whole purpose of doing a camo painting. After we have put down a base coat of colors dusted about the surface of the object we are painting, we follow up using plants (both live and artificial) for stencils over which we dust the surface with flat black. This creates a natural looking shadow effect around the plants and the flat black also helps to cut the gloss even more from the satin finish paints. Using this method, we have painted a number of boats, trucks, ATV's, bows %26amp; guns, cases, canoes %26amp; kayaks, utility trailers, and even a 22 foot motor-home. I dont know where you could buy camoflauge spray paint in the UK. If i were you and I couldn't find any, I would just go to a hardware store and get the light colors, grey, black, brown, green. depending on what terrain and enviroment you are planing on using it for.
